Using this website

You can browse this website without giving us any personal information. It has no account sign-up or contact forms, and it does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers.

When you contact us

If you email us, we receive your name, email address and whatever you include in your message. We use this only to reply to you and deal with your enquiry, on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.

Please do not send us personal medical details by email. We cannot give personal medical advice; if you have symptoms, contact your GP.

Buying and taking the test

Orders are placed through MeCheck. When you order, return a sample or receive a result, your information is handled under the privacy policy shown on the MeCheck website, which explains what is collected, how samples and results are processed by the laboratory, and how results are delivered.

Clinics and business contacts

If you contact us on behalf of a clinic, we use your business contact details to respond, set up and manage a partner account, and send information relevant to that relationship.

Sharing and keeping your information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business, such as our email provider, and only as needed. We keep enquiry emails for no longer than necessary to deal with them and any follow-up, and then delete them.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to restrict or stop using it, and in some cases ask for a copy to transfer elsewhere. To make a request, email us at the address above.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
